The coastal tram
The Coastal Tramway is one of the most iconic features of public transport on the Belgian coast. The longest tramway in the world, it stretches almost 68 kilometres along the entire Belgian coastline, from De Panne near the French border to Knokke-Heist on the Dutch border.
Timetable and stops
The Coastal Tram stops at 67 stops along the route from De Panne to Knokke, allowing you to effortlessly reach all the seaside resorts and top attractions along the Belgian coast. During the day,a tram departsevery 10, 15 or 20 minutes, while the frequency drops to every 30 or 60 minutes in the evening. This makes it easy to discover the most beautiful places along the coast, without worrying about parking or traffic jams.

Tickets and fares
Tickets are available from ticket machines at the stops, in advance sales points, or directly from the tram conductor. Different types of tickets are available, including single journeys, day passes and multi-journey passes, which can be more advantageous for tourists who plan to make several journeys.

Bicycle ticket for the coastal tram
With a bike ticket, you can take your bike with you for one hour on any Coastal Tram. The bicycle ticket is only valid for your bicycle. So don't forget to buy a ticket for yourself.
