Pay parking in Nieuwpoort

The following parking regulations are in force in all zones:

1/04 - 30/09
You pay for parking every day between 10:00 and 19:00.

1/10 - 31/03
You only pay for parking between 10:00 and 19:00 at weekends, on statutory and regulatory holidays and during school holidays.

Red zone

On Albert I laan, Hendriksplein and part of Lombardsijdestraat you can park for a maximum of 4 hours at €1.00 per hour. Just buy a ticket at the pay machines.

Orange zone

In this zone, you can park for a maximum of 9 hours at €6.00. You pay €1.00 per hour here.

Purple zone

This is located south of the Kaai and here you can park for a maximum of 4 hours for €1.00 per hour.

Accessibility

The reserved spaces allow people with a disabled card to park. On all other parking spaces, you have to pay the normal rates.

Important to know

• In the Promenade car park you pay €2.50 for the first hour - up to 2h it is €5.00. The maximum charge to park in the Promenade car park is €30.
• You can get a parking ticket at the ticket machine to park for free for 30 minutes. Please note that you can use a maximum of 2 free tickets per number plate per day.
• The pay zone parking signs are only at the edge of the respective zone. The sign is not repeated and is valid until you pass the sign indicating the end of the zone.
• If you park longer than permitted, you have not paid or your ticket is not clearly visible, you will be issued with a €30.00 fee voucher, which must be paid within 14 calendar days.
• In the orange zone, you can buy turn tickets if you want to park for a longer time. The first kind is a scratch turn card that you can buy in the parking shop. This card is valid for any 2 months for minimum 2 and maximum 15 calendar days per card. The second kind is a multi-day ticket you can get at the vending machine. It is valid for minimum 2 to maximum 7 calendar days.
